Every serious trader, somehow, stares at a screen and trusts their gut. The gut, when the stakes are high, lies. Tilt feels like clarity. Fatigue feels like focus. Cortisol narrows attention, and from the inside that narrowing is indistinguishable from conviction.
The technology to do better has existed for years. Apple Watch and its competitors stream heart rate, HRV, breath, sleep, motion — continuous, honest, second-by-second. What hadn't existed was a translation layer for traders specifically.
So we're building it. Verge is the result of that observation. The mission is small and concrete: give a trader the same kind of physiological self-awareness an athlete takes for granted. We don't tell you what to trade — we tell you whether the human at the screen is in the right state to be making the decisions.
That's the entire product. It's not bigger than that, and we don't want it to be.
